Review: 

As we are getting more into the series, I would say I've fallen in love with the prequel series more and more as Jen keeps on releasing them!! I would say that Jen definitely had me shocked a few times while reading because I did not expect that to happen. It was impossible to put the book down at times! I love the way this series is tying into the From Blood and Ash series so well that I already need the next book.

Sera is a fighter and I love that about her. She is a force to be reckoned with and no one will tear her and Nyktos apart. She is now captured by Kolis and his cruelty towards her definitely leaves her shaken. I know I would be. Reading this felt heart-breaking as you are learning what is happening to her, but at the same time rooting for her when she starts to make weapons to fight to get out of his control. There were many questions answered in AFITF and BIG reveals and there is lots of foreshadowing! That is all I'm going to say!  

Now lets talk about Ash/Nyktos. I love how well he treats Sera with so much respect and love. I love him even more now than I did before! He takes care of Sera and each moment they are together makes me want to reread the series! Ash is great Book Boyfriend material as it slowly matches Cas' in the From Blood and Ash series. Jen just writes us beautiful men that I will always obsess over! 

A Fire in the Flesh finishes perfectly. I had a smile on my face while reading because I loved it so much! I definitely recommend this series !
