The wedding she had evaded at all costs. But no matter what she does, Lexi can't seem to escape her past with Jack. But does she really want to?

Can Ramsey be the one to remove Jack from Lexi's life permanently or should she move on with her blossoming new life?

Review:

In this amazing sequel to Avoiding Commitment, K. A. Linde has out done herself again with this amazing book. When reading the book my nerves and heart were racing at what was going to happen during some scenes. If your read Avoiding Commitment you will understand that it was addicting! There may be spoilers if you have read the first book!

Avoiding Responsibility was by far one of my favorite books of 2012 because its one that you are not able to put down. The book begins a year later after the last book, and we get to see what Lexie was doing through out the year. The mystery of what happened between Lexi and Ramsey's relationship was also a good way to open the book because it really grabbed my attention, which made me want to finish the book. I really loved Ramsey in this book because we got to see his compassionate side when he is around Lexi, and I fell in love with him, compared to what Lexi went through with Jack. I am so Team Ramsey. You will see near the ending how much I love him which makes him a really good guy for Lexi.

Chyna is again, fun, out going and is always there by Lexi's side, and in this book we saw her character develop which is another thing that makes me like her more. Now with an evil new mother , a relationship and a great attitude, she really does have a life of her own.  Now on to Jack and his latest insanity, he is one of Lexi's biggest faults of letting go, and then ends up getting asked by Ramsey to go to his wedding and the parties. Bekah is still annoying as ever and up to know good, and I dislike her soo much through out the book. The plot is really intense and I really loved it through the whole thing! I loved how it hopped from a year a go, to the present because it also gave us a way of seeing Ramsey falling in love with Lexi.

Overall, I am already officially a big fan of K.A. Linde's books because I love them and she has addictive writing. Since I read them both and loved them I definitely recommend this series for those into a good romance! Soo am excited that she is writing a 3rd book in the series because that ending was OMG at the same time swooning over Ramsey!!

Excerpt 1
“I think talking helps,” she murmured almost instantly regretting that statement. He could ask her a million and a half things that she had no desire to discuss. She knew he was curious about her, but she was hesitant to share too much information about herself. What she could share—what she had shared so far—was barely scratching the surface.

He would find out eventually the kind of person she had once been. She knew it was inevitable. If Ramsey had any knowledge of what had occurred between her and Jack in her past, he didn’t act like it. And for now, at least, she wanted to keep it that way.

“I think talking can be helpful,” he agreed, “but not right now.” He shot her a quick smirk his green eyes glowing. “For now, I’m on a date with a beautiful woman, and I should be enjoying that.”

“Oh, you think we’re on a date, do you?” Lexi asked playfully crossing her arms over her chest and giving him a devilish grin.

“Is this not what this is?” he questioned, taking a step towards her.

“Well, I don’t know. Are you going to take me out to dinner?”
she asked him following his lead and stepping into him. “Sweep me off my feet? Walk me to my doorstep and give me a lingering kiss good night?” She arched one perfectly shaped eyebrow.

Ramsey leaned into her, pulling her body close to him. He dipped his head down close enough to huskily whisper into her ear, “Can I give you a lingering kiss on my doorstep and convince you to make it more than linger?”
