Kelley York: Interview
Hello!!! Here is my interview with Kelley York!! This post is a little late due to me being a little busy this past month, but Kelley is one awesome writer. Big thanks to Entangled Publishing:D 1) What was your favorite scene to write about in Hushed? I have a lot of favorites. Archer and Evan’s ‘just bones’ scene always comes to mind, along with any of Archer’s confrontations with his mom. A lot of readers seem to enjoy the more tender moments with him and Evan, but I always like the emotional, heartbreaking scenes best when writing. 2) How did you come up with the idea of plot/story? I had several other WIPs at the time, but I dropped all of them when I got the idea for Archer. He was so fascinating to me, and I dove into his story immediately. It started with him and branched out from there. 3) How long did it take you to finish Hushed? I don’t remember the exact time, but I’ll guess around 5 months from start to finish.
