Review:  In Lauren Oliver's sequel to Delirium, Pandemonium was full of surprises and the anticipation that it will want you to read the next one! I loved how the story went from Now and Then because we got to see Lena start to be stronger and why she went to New York. Alex is not in this book unfortunately. I am a huge team Alex! Through staying with the Wilds she dev...

Vote Alex Andros

Image
As you may know, I LOVE Half-Blood by Jennifer L. Armentrout. Alex has won her first round, and tomorrow she faces Rose from Vampire Academy. YOU can vote for Alex at YA Sisterhood  Why should YOU vote 4 Alex: She is an awesome heroine! Alex is a fighter from the day you meet her in Daimon. If you have read the prequel you have seen that she can fight, she did kill 2 of them. Alex is also smart, due to her knowledge of the outside world other than Deity Island in which she grew up. To those who have read Half-Blood, she is a strong opponent against Rose and since they are both half's of some supernatural to them. Jennifer is an awesome writer and made Alex a wonderful main character. Her writing is also addicting!! From the first novel in the series, Daimon, you get to know her better, who she is before she left. She is always the troublemaker when she was training. She can kill many things with her fighting skills. Her forbidden romance with Aiden! I like love triangles for so...

Teaser Tuesday

Image
Today's Teaser is from Half-Blood by Jennifer L. Armentrout. This scene is from the First Chapter, introduction to Aiden! "In front of me, he walked right through the flames, looking every bit like a daimon hunter should. The fire did not singe his pants nor dirty his shirt. Not a single dark hair was touched by the blaze. Those cool storm-cloud-colored eyes fixed on me. It was him--Aiden St. Delphi. I'd never forget his name or face. The first time I'd caught a glimpse of him standing in front of the training arena, a ridiculous crush had sprung alive. I'd been fourteen and he seventeen. The fact he was a pure-blood hadn't mattered whenever I'd spotted him around campus." You can also check out my Interview with the author, or my review of the book in Review Archives. This book was amazing! Summary of Half-Blood: The Hematoi descend from the unions of gods and mortals, and the children of two Hematoi pure-bloods have godlike powers. Chi...

Half-Blood (Covenant #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Review:  I think I found my new favorite series, with this book, Half-Blood, as you may know, I have been promoting through the blog. The cover is beautiful, and with the flower it does represent an item in the book.  I recommend that readers read Daimon before reading Half-Blood, because it gives a great background in why she runs away from her life with her mother in the mortal world. When reading this on the Adobe Digital Reader/Iphone, which was a little annoying (wished for an ARC), but it was totally worth it because this book was AWESOME/Great. I could probably physically hug this book if I actually did that a copy in my hands. From beginning to end you fall in love with her characters, Alex and even hot delicious Aiden, who is her knight in shining armor. Following Alex's life through Half-Blood. It deals with Greek Gods and many creatures that it is way different than any other book I have read to far! Alex, the main character, is strong and not afra...
