Image
Hey everyone!! Since its only ONE week until Christmas, I will be giving away a Boxed Set of the Divergent Series. I love this series so much that giving away one will make another reader even happier if they read this series. Already having 3 copies of the series, am willing to part with this boxed set. Be sure to check out my reviews of the series: Divergent Insurgent Allegiant About Divergent: In Beatrice Prior's dystopian Chicago world, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue--Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is--she can't have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself. ...

Allegiant Challenge: Why I Love the Series

Image
As we are approach the release of Allegiant which is the most anticipated book of this year, Harpercollins Canada has a challenge for readers to participate in where you can win some Allegiant goodies for the release of Allegaint in less than a month! Be sure to add the countdown to your blog!  First post is Why do I love this series?  When I first read this series back in 2012 near the almost release of Insurgent I already heard amazing things about it from bloggers that it is full of action and that the writing was amazing. The funny thing when I read it I was at school trying to write a 20 page paper. Of course I was instantly sucked in by the plot as well as the connections between the characters. In those amount of hours that I read it, I established that my favorite scene in Divergent was the Ferris Wheel (capture the flag) It had courage, and a little chemistry between the characters. This is a really diverse book that really pulled me in as the reader. ...

Insurgent Week: Why I Loved Divergent!

Image
Why I Loved Divergent: Divergent was one of those books that I could not put down because it had all the perfect elements in a dystopian novel. I still wonder why it took me a while to read it For example Veronica Roth characters are developed and in Divergent each character transformed. When choosing the fraction they choose their destiny. Tris is a very likable character because some teenagers can relate to her as main character and her transformation. From beginning to end Tris' story will leave you wanting more of the next book and this book is an addiction because every time I re-read it I would love it even more! Tris and Four romance was the topping of the cake. I love how there is no love triangle in this series and we know they will be together for the next book. While reading about the formation of Tris and Four's romance, every time Four came into the room I got butterflies because is HOT and his development as a character and getting to know him was ver...
