Synopsis:
After their beautiful yet brief bonding ceremony in Italy, Schuyler Van Alen and Jack Force are forced to separate. To fulfill the Van Alen Legacy, Schuyler travels to Alexandria to search for Catherine of Siena and the Gate of Promise. But Schuyler quickly discovers that everything she believed about the Gate to be wrong. Meanwhile, Jack makes the difficult decision to return to New York to face his twin and former bondmate, Mimi. But instead of a bitter reunion, he is faced with a choice for which there is no good option.
Mimi, with a most unexpected travel companion in Oliver Hazard-Perry, jets off to Egypt, too, to search for Kingsley Martin, her long lost love. With all roads leading to Hell, Mimi learns that not all love stories have happy endings. But she'll have to put her own feelings aside if she's going to save her crumbling Coven.
Packed with heartache, twists, and vampiric folklore, Lost in Time is sure to satisfy hungry fans' cravings for more Blue Bloods adventure.

Review: * This may contain spoilers*
Let me just say that I really, really, really enjoyed this book. It had so much action, romance and so much mystery behind Allegra's and her familiars love story. From the very first pages, we get a glimpse of what has happened in the last book Misguided Angel. Lost in Time wont disappoint you, with any Jack and Schuyler fans, we see some interesting things *spoiler*  going on with them after their bond But beyond that Melissa De La Cruz has the reader reading from 3 different views, which I usually love because we get to see different perspective and love interactions.
*Above- sorry font is not working properly so you just have to highlight it* Sorry

Jack and Schuyler's romance and journey to find the Gate of Promise is very lengthy. Jack is one of those characters who would do anything for the leading lady, he is completely in love with Schuyler that he would even risk his own life to let her love *TRUE LOVE* Even with his broken bond with Mimi, he would sacrifice everything. Along their adventure in Egypt, we meet new characters through Jack and Schuyler's views.

Mimi and Oliver also travel to Egypt but they go to the underworld, to save Kingsley Martin. Mimi and Kingsley's relationship wasn't fully developed in past books, but it does intensify in Lost In Time. Mimi as a character really started to grow on me, with her protectiveness of her friends and about the ones she loves. Oliver only helped Mimi get to the underworld with his skills.

In Lost in Time, we get a glimpse of Allegra's life before she went into a coma, before her "bonding" with Charles. If you read the novellas like Bloody Valentine- we met Ben, Schulyer's father and how they met. In this book we learn how they got together after she left the private school and graduated from college. I actually loved this part of the novel due to its background information of how love can conquer everything, its the same situation with Schuyler and Jack's predicament and how Jack is going to save Schuyler because of the bond. Like mother like daughter I was rooting for true love to win, but we will have to wait until the final novel!

Lost in Time was action packed, romantic and overall one awesome book in the series of Blue Bloods. There is only 1 book left:( which comes out in 2013 which is too far away. If you haven't read the series, pick them up, they are awesome!
