"History is on repeat, and things didn't go so well the last time. "

Alexandria isn't sure she's going to make it to her eighteenth birthday--to her Awakening. A long-forgotten, fanatical order is out to kill her, and if the Council ever discovers what she did in the Catskills, she's a goner... and so is Aiden.

If that's not freaky enough, whenever Alex and Seth spend time "training"--which really is just Seth's code word for some up-close and personal one-on-one time--she ends up with another mark of the Apollyon, which brings her one step closer to Awakening ahead of schedule. Awesome.

But as her birthday draws near, her entire world shatters with a startling revelation and she's caught between love and Fate. One will do anything to protect her. One has been lying to her since the beginning. Once the gods have revealed themselves, unleashing their wrath, lives will be irrevocably changed... and destroyed.

Those left standing will discover if love is truly greater than Fate...

Review:

I officially LOVE Jennifer L. Armentrout even more because of her amazing Covenant series!! From the first moment of reading Half-Blood, Pure and now after Deity she now has me addicted to all of her books. Deity was an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G read from beginning to end. Alex, Aiden, and Seth are all back!! I was soo excited to receive this book when it came, and stayed up until 4am reading.  Jennifer L. Armentrout is a genius because in Deity she captures the readers attention to the Gods, romance and the action that was in the novel! Armentrout is the best with writing chemistry between the characters as well as her addictive writing. Deity was a book that I could not put down, it was addicting!

It was great to be back in Alex's head because her characters is the best! Whenever she was feeling I was feeling too. I fell in love with Aiden all over again, his silver eyes (drool), personality and protectiveness of Alex was his lead in this novel was to the heart and every reader who has read this series will be cheering for Aiden and Alex in Deity! It had the perfect amount of romance which will melt your heart. Seth this time had a minor role but nearing the end will make a major impact on the novels to come. Aiden I think really grew in this novel in a way than Seth because Seth is the same in the novels before rather than Aiden who would do anything for Alex. There was even some steamy scenes that will make your heart flutter and confessions that will shock you!

Aiden stole my heart in Deity with his smarts and how he can be himself when he is with Alex. I love how in this novel Aiden is the knight in shining armor in this novel because as he mentions in earlier books ''Agapi Mou'' those words are adorable. His protectiveness and jealously are also shown in the novel and you can only feel how much he adores Alex. I LOVE AIDEN. Seth is the one who is full of surprises and will shock you at the end of the novel! Never under estimate the oracle!

Deity has to be by far my favorite novel of the series along with every other books Jennifer has created. I loved everything about Deity!! The scenes were soo memorable that I had to re-read it all over again. If you loved Half-Blood and Pure you will LOVE Deity. The writing is fantastic and I love how Jennifer blends in the Gods perfectly and the background of why Half-Bloods and Pure cannot be together. The end of Deity was OMG why did it have to end, I was mind blown!!! Now I cannot wait until the next book Apollyon. Definitely read this series because you will not be disappointed!!
