YA Crush Tourney (Jase)

YA Sisterhood
<div align="center"><a href="http://ya-sisterhood.blogspot.ca/" title="YA Sisterhood"><img src="http://i1203.photobucket.com/albums/bb396/AverysBookNook/2dfc256e-4576-45e9-83f4-2d8331b5491d_zps778f8f6c.jpg?t=1370634268" alt="YA Sisterhood" style="border:none;" /></a></div>

Personality

Jase is definitely the most swoon-worthy character because he is smart, hard, working dedicated, straight forward, funny, attentive, loyal and he would do anything to help Sam. He puts his family ahead of himself.  He is a modern day Romeo when he climbs up Samantha's trellis to introduce himself. He is every dream girls book boyfriend!!

Looks

Jase is described as "rangier, leaner, his wavy hair a lighter brown, already with those streaks of  blonde that brunettes get in the summer." Has wavy brown hair, green eyes, and olive skin.

Talents

He is talented at football, likes to fix things especially cars, and vacuums. He is very good with taking care of his younger siblings ex. babysitting.

Special Attributes/Best Qualities

He is very good at training for his upcoming try-outs for football. Jase is also known for his animals which live in his room.

Best Qualities: reliable, attentive, loyal, self-less, family oriented, lovable,

Anything else?

  • His real name is Jason
  • He is the third oldest Garrett

His first meeting with Samantha:

"Hey," he says again, sitting down next to me as though he knows me well. "Need rescuing?"
I stare at this boy. He's obviously a Garrett, and not Joel, but which one? Up close, in the light spilling from my bedroom, he looks different from most of the Garretts--rangier, leaner, his wavy hair a lighter brown, already with those streaks of blond some brunettes get in the summer.
"Why would I need rescuing? This is my house, my roof."
"I don't know. It just hit me, seein gyou there, that you might be Rapunzel. The princess in the tower thing. All that long blond hair and... well..."
"And you'd be?" I know I'm going to laugh if he says "the prince."

Instead he answers "Jase Garrett," reaching for my hand to shake it, as though we're at a college interview rather than randomly sitting together on my roof at night.

Jase has a rather unusual... hobby?
"Walking into Jase's room is like walking into... well, I'm not sure... A forest? A bird sanctuary? One of those tropical habitats they have at zoos? It's filled with plants, really tall ones and hanging ones and succulents and cacti. There are three parakeets in a cage and a huge hostile-looking cockatoo in another. vI look, there are other creatures..."

Swoon-worthy moments:

Jase studies my face, then takes my hand, pulling me down. He carefully curls around me, so my head is resting on his arm, and his head's resting on my shoulder. His fingers move slowly through my hair. The paradox of Jase is that at the same time I'm so conscious of the head of his chest against my back, and the muscles under the shorts on the legs twined around mine, I feel so safe and comfortable that I fall, almost immediately asleep.

If Jase wins this match Huntley will provide us with a extra scene!!

Until one morning when she comes face-to-face with Levi Corbin in physics class.

Little does she know, the Corbins have returned to Haldeen with only one thing on their minds: winning Ali’s heart. Ali soon finds herself in the middle of a love triangle she doesn’t want any part of. As she tries to reclaim the friendships she’s lost and to adjust to the unfamiliar feelings she’s having, she struggles with making the one decision that will forever change their lives: Levi or Tucker Corbin?

She loves to write contemporary romance, erotica, and young adult romance. Currently she has several full-length novels in the works, a series of novellas, and a handful of short stories. Kara is an active member of the CNY Creative Writers CafĂ© and the CNY Romance Writers. Today, Kara resides in New Haven, New York with her husband, five kids, and three cats. When she’s not reading or writing, she’s thinking about reading and writing. And when she’s not doing that, she’s spending time with her family and friends.

From Chapter Five: (Ali's POV)
The second bell rang, and Mr. Palmer cleared his throat. That meant class had officially started. We were reading and discussing The Grapes of Wrath. I'd enjoyed the book, but talking about it for almost two weeks straight was killing whatever pleasure I'd gotten from reading it. Now I was just plain bored. I took out my notebook and began to doodle. Hearts within hearts, curly lines, balloons, and then I started to do something I didn't think I'd ever do: I wrote Mrs. Ali Corbin. I liked the looks of that.
Hmm, the question remained, which Corbin brother did I marry? I drew two more hearts and wrote Ali and Levi in the center of one, and Ali and Tucker in the other. My eyes focused on one specific heart, and a small smile formed on my lips. When did I become such a girl?
My smile faded when the reality of what I'd just done settled in. I was not seriously sitting there daydreaming about marrying one of the Corbins, was I? We were best friends. I wasn't supposed to think of them in that way. Yet, I couldn't stop. They were each sexy in their own ways, and that combined with the fact that they were my best friends—that we knew each other better than anyone else ever would — made them completely irresistible. I dropped my head onto the desk. I was in so much trouble.

Obsession by Jennifer L. Armentrout (Blog Tour: Interview)

Obsession Blurb:

He’s arrogant, domineering, and… To. Die. For.

Hunter is a ruthless killer. And the Department of Defense has him firmly in their grasp, which usually doesn’t chafe too badly because he gets to kill bad guys. Most of the time he enjoys his job. That is, until he’s saddled with something he’s never had to do before: protect a human from his mortal enemy.

Serena Cross didn’t believe her best friend when she claimed to have seen the son of a powerful senator turn into something…unnatural. Who would? But then she witnesses her friend’s murder at the hands of what can only be an alien, thrusting her into a world that will kill to protect their secret.

Hunter stirs Serena’s temper and her lust despite their differences. Soon he’s doing the unthinkable—breaking the rules he’s lived by, going against the government to keep Serena safe. But are the aliens and the government the biggest threats to Serena’s life…or is it Hunter?

Interview:

1. Who is your favorite person to write about: Daemon or Hunter?  I would have to pick Hunter because he just says and does whatever the hell he wants all the time.
2. What the most craziest thing you did while writing your books?  I really haven’t done anything crazy while writing.  It’s fairly boring because I just sit there in my pjs on the computer all day.
3. If you put all of your characters together who would get along the best?  My answer probably isn’t fair, but my guy picks are Cam (Wait for You) and Jase (Be With Me).  My female picks are Avery (Wait for You) and Teresa (Be With Me).
4. Most recent book you read?  Foreplay by Sophie Jordan
5. What type of music do you usually play while writing?  I usually don’t listen to music unless I’m writing a fight scene.  I’m more likely to have the TV turned on in the background.
6. Your books have the best male leads (Cam, Aiden, and Daemon), how do you do it?  I just try to write male characters with personality traits that I find attractive.  Then, I make them hot and take their shirts off a lot.
7. Most used word in your books?  Irrevocably
8. Best part of being an author?  Aside from getting to do something that I love, I do enjoy making my own schedule and working from home.
Thank you Jen for coming by, I cannot wait to read your upcoming books!
