Review: The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter
Review
I thought this book was AWESOME!!! It is one of my favorite Greek mythology books. I practically finished it in one day:) My expectations were really high, and Carter did it beautifully and exceeded beyond it. I have always loved talking about Greek Gods and Goddess, its one of those cool subjects in history.
From beginning to end you have to root for Kate to pass those 7 tests throughout the entire novel. The ending was really good and some of the scenes were surprising, I was in shock! But with that ending it was amazing. I loved the part where Henry gives Kate a dog (Pogo) because that scene was sooo cute, and also when they kiss for the first time!
Kate was an easier character to like because she was a normal teenager, but she focused on her mother because she was dying, waiting for her to pass. But Kate is handed a somewhat miracle of meeting Henry when he saves Kate's friend Ava. Henry is Hades, but in The Goddess Test he is the perfect gentlemen, who would protect Kate. The fact that they both fall in love with each other was really cute in the matter of 6 months for the rest of her life. I actually loved the book, and its unique way of relating it to today's lifestyle.
I will give this book 4.5 stars, plus Aimee Carter is awesome, I recommend you read this book!.I can't wait until the sequel to this book called Goddess Interrupted:)
Next book I will be reading/reviewing is Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini. Keep a look out for this review and many more to come!! next one with gods and goddess:)

ReplyDeleteI loved this book! I'm really into Greek Mythology and this book has got to be one of the best. Have you read 'The Olympian' series by Rick Riordan? They're really good too!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this series. There's something about Ally's writing that completely hooks me and captures my attention from the moment I sit down to read her books. I get so caught up in the world travels, the excitement of the plot and of course the chemistry between Kat and Hale is AWESOME! I love the way Ally creates the right about amount of tension, and desire between the two of them. There's the little moments between them, and the scenes were the two of them are so close to each other makes me want to shove the two of them together and tell them to kiss already. I true adore these two characters and the history they have together.
ReplyDeleteI love this book
