Armchair BEA Day 4: Beyond the Blog

Beyond The Blog

What I find most fun about blogging is the bloggers and authors! My blogging life really started to pick up after I finished reading Twilight because I never was a big reader before the series came into my world. In the fall beyond the blog I usually go to school and its hard balancing the blog and school but I do try to maintain it. I do enjoy the arrival of packages that come through the mail because once you open it a bunch of surprises come out that I could not wait to read! During the summer is more flexible because of no school, but then work interferes with the blogging because my spending habits are bad on books, which I need to improve on, because school in Ontario (university) is expensive! So I know I will be cutting back on book expenses soon, which is sad but it will benefit because I have tons of books to read. I also love being involved in blog tours to also connect with authors and bloggers.

I enjoy blogging as much as the next person. I want to spread my blog amongst my community but where I live people talk and my mom is already mad that I have an overflow of books where I can't fit anymore LOL but I love to do giveaways despite that Chapters and Post office know me now. I love life and I will continue to enjoy it with books included, but I will make time to go out more often because it would be good for me to socialize with my friends other than always working at my job or sometimes on the blog. Overall blogging is a great experience where connecting with others is great because they experience the same reactions you do. As long as you love what you are doing, your blog will florish!

  2. Great post Amanda! I think that's a great point about as long as you love it. It's an important ingredient when it comes to success! ;)

Hahha, it's so fun to hear the post office knowing you! Since I live in Sweden, I mostly gift from stores since it's about the same price to even ship them, so mine don't really know me yet. o: Maybe because of my own huge packages they get... lol.

  5. I don't think I have anyone who knows me in regards to my passion for reading ... I usually get all my mail delivered to my box, so I never see a postal worker!

I agree with you ... blogging is a GREAT experience! I can't imagine not doing it!

  6. Haha, UPS knows me. I also understand about the overflow -- my mum isn't too fond of that in my house either. I've gotten very good at hiding books :D

  7. LOL, yes Book blogging leads you to be in tight with the postal service and UPS. My dog gets so excited when he hears their trucks because they always give him treats!
