Review
I got to read this through the Simon and Schuster Galley grab. I heard really great things about this novel through some of the other bloggers who were fortunately able to get an ARC. Over the past few days I read it even more, and fell in love with this novel. I even cried at the end, over some parts. Karsten Knight writes beautifully with his female protagonist Ashline, who is really tough. All of his characters each have personality, and sponk.
From the first chapter until the very last lines of this wonderful book about Polynesian Goddess and Gods which draws you to this novel. I would say that Wildefire will make a huge impact amongst bookstores because the hype of the book is so worth it.
The book was fantastic from start to finish. It was a different narration than other books I have read, it was in 3rd person, and the main character sorta narrates it through it, but it didnt really bother me, it was good, the way Knight presents his story in Wildefire. Loved his writing and plot! He is really funny, you follow his blog, he posts vlogs.... and they are hilarious.
With the novel itself, the book was fantastic...characters=Awesome, Plot=Awesome, Overall= Awesome. His first novel will amaze you!
What I loved about this book, is that it was different than any other, it was unique. Each character has each a power. My favorite character is Ashline because she is very powerful and hangs out with Colt, who is her love interest. When they all go to a bar, they are all found by a blind young girl, and she each hands them a piece of paper
I can explain all day why I love this book, and this brilliant writer hits all the right marks when it comes to YA novels. Overall the ending will leave you speechless and wanting more. I cant wait until the next book in this series, and buy the book in hardcover on July 26. I am giving this book 5 stars!
