Q: What is your biggest pet peeve when it comes to books?

My pet peeve when it comes to book is the fast disappearance of the evil character, and we also need to get to know more of the antagonist. They are one of the main characters, and we do want to see them defeated, but background would be cool too. I am pretty good with all the evil characters it thickens the story.

Whats your pet peeve?

  1. I like evil character in my books too, a really well made one! Just read The Cowboy and The Vampire and it had a great villain Julius.

  2. Mmm hmm. Great villains make great book, and they need as much dept as the main character. Have a great weekend!

  3. Hopping through. I agree that a strong enemy really takes the book to another level.

  4. An evil villain comes off as just a blip on the radar without a back story. Plus, sometimes I actually like the bad guy more than the protag so it's important as an author to cover your basis!

  5. Oh I have a bunch of Pet Peeves, but I stuck to what my top three peeves were. Good answer. I like to have a villian to hate. Makes me enjoy the book a lot better.
